About the role

Responsibilities
- Support the team in all operational procurement matters
- Coordinate and manage the entire procurement/tendering process
- Conduct the associated price negotiations
- Draft and structure procurement contracts (service contracts, contracts for work and IT contracts)
- Negotiate contracts with service providers and suppliers
- Clarify issues from the perspective of data protection, information security, audit/compliance, etc.
- Actively contribute to projects within the team and across departments
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training or a relevant degree
- Basic legal knowledge, particularly in contract law
- Ideally several years of professional experience in operational procurement of services and/or IT acquisitions
- Strong goal- and solution-orientation, confident presence, and excellent communication skills
- Excellent, negotiation-level German (C2) and good English skills
- Conscientious, structured working style and strong analytical abilities
- A clean basic police clearance certificate and a signed internal declaration confirming your financial affairs are in order (e.g., no personal insolvency or wage garnishment).
