About the role
- Managing electric distribution capital projects for PSE to improve system reliability and capacity. Coordinating across multiple departments while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Managing Electric Distribution System capital projects designed to improve system reliability, increase capacity, or mitigate wildfire risk.
- Directing and managing the processes and activities of projects that carry medium risk and financial impact.
- Coordinating and communicating tasks with other departments such as Engineering, Real Estate, Environmental, Permitting, System Planning, and Energy Resources.
- Drafting medium complexity contracts, monitoring contracts and contractors,
- Ensuring duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
- At least four years relevant work experience including managing simple projects.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communications skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge and experience in scheduling, estimating, accounting and finance principles.
- Basic knowledge in project management discipline to effectively arrange resources and manage multiple simple to medium complexity projects in a cross-functional environment.
