- IT Administrator responsible for managing core IT services and maintaining security standards. Overseeing infrastructure in both Microsoft and Linux environments while contributing to ISMS development.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the secure and stable operation of our IT infrastructure in Microsoft and Linux environments.
- Management of core services (M365, AD, Azure AD, Intune, firewalls, VPN).
- Administration of VMware and storage systems.
- Further development of our IT security and network environment.
- Establishment and operation of our ISMS (Information Security Management System) while ensuring the highest security standards.
- Ensure a stable and secure system environment in Microsoft and Linux landscapes.
- Administration and maintenance of VMware clusters with connected Fibre Channel systems and the associated backup infrastructure.
- Implementation, configuration and maintenance of VMware ESXi systems.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or a degree in computer science, or an equivalent qualification.
- Several years of experience as a systems administrator in medium-sized or larger companies.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in security and IT infrastructure.
- Knowledge includes M365 (including Entra ID, Intune for Android, Apple and Microsoft devices, and SharePoint).
- Solid networking knowledge in TCP/IP, IPv6 and IPSec VPN.
- Deep experience with Microsoft and Linux system landscapes.
- Proficient with VMware, Fibre Channel, Veeam and hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong expertise in information security and cyber security.
- Basic SAP knowledge is desirable.
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
