About the role
- SOX Data Analyst ensuring compliance and data integrity for a leading FinTech company. Leveraging data analytics and IT controls in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the design, execution, and monitoring of Information Technology General Controls (ITGCs)
- Manage and review User Access Controls, including user provisioning, access reviews, and segregation of duties.
- Utilize data analytics to identify control gaps, trends, and risks within financial and information technology processes.
- Assist with internal and external audit requests related to Information Technology General Controls and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
- Partner with information technology and business stakeholders to remediate control deficiencies and improve control design.
- Work with Workday to support access controls, reporting, and control-related activities.
Requirements
- 3+ years’ relevant experience with a public company or large corporation
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Tableau and PowerBI
- Experience with data extraction tools such as SQL
- Background in information systems
- Strong understanding of Information Technology General Controls frameworks
- Working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and internal control concepts
- Hands-on experience with Workday, particularly in areas related to access management, reporting, or control activities.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
