About the role

• AI Engineer developing and implementing advanced AI solutions at Pottencial. Focused on statistical models, generative AI techniques, and prompt engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop statistical models and machine learning algorithms using Python;
• Implement and optimize data pipelines for model training and inference;
• Apply generative AI techniques, including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), model fine-tuning and prompt engineering;
• Evaluate and select model architectures appropriate for different use cases;
• Ensure quality, security and governance of deployed models;
• Document processes, methodologies and experimental results;
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to understand requirements and propose innovative solutions;
• Monitor model performance and perform continuous adjustments for improvement;
• Research and adopt new AI trends and frameworks to keep solutions up to date;
• Participate in strategic meetings and provide technical insights for corporate decisions;
• Act in accordance with the company’s organizational values and competencies;
• Comply with legal requirements and internal policies through active participation in training and reporting potential deviations;
• Safeguard the confidentiality of information in accordance with the Pottencial Code of Ethics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or completed technological degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields;
• Microsoft Office: Basic;
• Generative AI techniques (RAG, fine-tuning, prompt engineering): Advanced;
• Statistics and mathematical modeling: Intermediate;
• API integration and handling of large volumes of data: Intermediate;
• Cloud environments (Azure, AWS or GCP) for model deployment: Intermediate;
• MLOps, model versioning and AI security practices (desirable): Intermediate;
• Agile methodologies: Intermediate.
