About the role

  • Security Manager responsible for organizing and planning security tasks in Jülich, Germany. Leading a professional team and ensuring safety standards in a top security company.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and plan security and guarding duties
  • Manage, lead and develop personnel
  • Conduct interviews and support candidates through the onboarding process
  • Act as point of contact for site security and the client
  • Coordinate, control and maintain smooth operations and compliance with contract requirements
  • Maintain documentation and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality and performance standards
  • Oversee and monitor training

Requirements

  • IHK-certified Meister for Protection and Security or comparable qualification (required)
  • Weapons proficiency/certification according to § 7 of the German Weapons Act (WaffG) (desirable)
  • Experience in personnel management and in organizing and planning guarding tasks
  • Excellent German language skills, spoken and written
  • Clean criminal record (certificate of conduct)
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, friendly appearance
  • Category B driving licence
  • Nuclear regulatory reliability check (Atomrechtliche Zuverlässigkeitsüberprüfung, AtZüV) (desirable)
