About the role
- Perform accounting entries and reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts;
- Thoroughly analyze the accounting accounts assigned to the Analyst, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and verifying supporting documentation;
- Prepare monthly reconciliations for those accounting accounts within the deadlines established by the group;
- Support the monthly, semi-annual and annual accounting close processes;
- Prepare financial statements and management reports;
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and IFRS, as well as internal policies and procedures;
- Support internal, external and group audits by providing supporting documentation and explanations;
- Prepare and submit ancillary accounting filings and obligations;
- Participate in company projects by assessing the accounting implications (risks, opportunities and accounting design for the proposed operation);
- Contribute to improvements in accounting processes and ERP systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Ciências Contábeis) or related field;
- Active CRC registration (Regional Accounting Council - Brazil);
- Experience in general accounting;
- Solid knowledge of Brazilian accounting standards (BR GAAP) and IFRS;
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP);
- Intermediate English desirable for reading standards and reports;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, analytical ability, proactivity, sense of urgency, organization and quick learning are essential.
