About the role

  • Team Lead in Software Engineering for a collaborative team developing front end loyalty solutions. Leading a team of developers in multi-technology projects with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the day-to-day development activities of a team of 7 developers working on cross-airline products.
  • Share responsibility for your team’s technical health: architecture, best practices, reliability, security, etc.
  • Provide technical guidance for engineering processes including code reviews and deployments; oversee system architecture and technical decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and product leaders to align priorities.
  • Provide professional development opportunities and career guidance.
  • Be actively involved in hands-on development tasks and architectural decisions.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience leading software projects or development teams.
  • Strong backend development experience: at least 7+ years with Java and Spring.
  • Strong frontend development experience: at least 7+ years with ReactJS.
  • At least 2+ years of prior experience leading a team of developers across multiple technical levels.
  • Passion for developing and mentoring others.
  • Commitment to good software design, testing, documentation, and support practices.
  • Belief in the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and clear communication.
