About the role

  • Specialist in Compliance promoting laws and internal guidelines within Pirelli's German operations. Managing risks and supporting compliance strategy development.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a culture of compliance and ensure adherence to laws and regulations as well as internal corporate principles and policies in our company
  • Actively contribute to shaping the compliance strategy
  • Coordinate, prepare and communicate our group-wide and local corporate principles and policies in collaboration with Group headquarters and local business units
  • Build and further develop compliance risk management systems, e.g. risk management within the Anti-Corruption Compliance Program
  • Conduct process analyses to verify compliance with internal corporate principles and policies and support the Pirelli Group’s internal control processes for Germany
  • Analyze regulatory requirements and develop appropriate measures with the respective business areas to meet those requirements
  • Serve as a knowledgeable contact for management and colleagues, and support external and internal audits and assessments on compliance topics
  • Handle inquiries from our stakeholders (customers, suppliers, government bodies, institutions, NGOs…) on compliance-related matters
  • Prepare presentations, information and communication materials on selected compliance topics and produce compliance reports
  • Create internal corporate communications on compliance topics and support our local compliance intranet presence
  • Design, develop and roll out trainings and training materials on selected compliance topics across the company, such as e-learning, podcasts and instructor-led trainings

Requirements

  • Completed degree in economics/business administration or law with several years of relevant professional experience
  • With strong networking skills and a cross-functional mindset, you build sustainable relationships and understand cross-departmental interdependencies
  • High self-initiative and strong motivation to drive topics independently and initiate improvements
  • You act responsibly and value-driven at all times, upholding ethical principles and company policies
  • Initial experience in the compliance function of an industrial company
  • Team player with a hands-on mentality
  • Very good command of English
  • Confident user of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Knowledge of SAP, Appian and SharePoint is an advantage
