About the role
- Leader for the team in a nursing service focused on patients needing intensive care. Overseeing patient care and providing leadership in Berlin-Wedding.
Responsibilities
- Assume leadership responsibilities and additionally provide nursing care and support to patients
- Prepare nursing histories and care plans in close cooperation with residents, legal guardians, family members, nursing staff, physicians, and therapists
- Monitor and ensure proper basic and treatment nursing care
- Conduct regular case discussions and care rounds
- Assist with creating duty rosters and vacation schedules
- Perform supervisory duties, provide guidance, oversight, and duty of care for all nursing staff assigned to the residential unit
Requirements
- Successfully completed training as a registered/state-qualified nurse (m/f/d)
- Experience in intensive care or out-of-hospital (home) intensive care preferred
- Successfully completed further training/qualification as a Nursing Service Manager (m/f/d)
- Compassionate, empathetic approach to patients (m/f/d)
- Strong communication skills
- A genuine passion and commitment to nursing
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Some previous leadership experience preferred
- Valid driver's license (Class B)
