About the role
- Nursing professional providing comprehensive intensive care for children at a facility in Dresden. Collaborating with a team to ensure the well-being of patients aged 0-18 years.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to and provide individualized care that takes patients' needs into account
- Provide basic nursing and treatment-related care for tracheostomized and/or ventilated patients
- Monitor ventilator settings and vital signs, perform emergency management and ongoing patient observation
- Support and care for patients in their daily activities
- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team
- Communicate with patients, their families and other stakeholders
Requirements
- Successfully completed three-year training as a Registered Nurse (Gesundheits- und Krankenpfleger) (m/f/d)
- Qualified nursing professional (Pflegefachmann / Pflegefachfrau) (m/f/d)
- Geriatric nurse (Altenpfleger) (m/f/d)
- Nurse (Krankenpfleger / Krankenschwester) (m/f/d)
- Pediatric nurse (Kinderkrankenpfleger / Kinderkrankenschwester) (m/f/d)
- Prior experience in intensive care is not required
- Compassionate, empathetic approach to our patients (m/f/d)
- Strong communication skills
- Initial experience working with children desirable
