About the role
- Senior GL Accountant responsible for execution of accounting activities within Perrigo Services International Poland. Engaging in month-end close and statutory filings with an emphasis on GL and SAP Finance expertise.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the execution of General Ledger accounting activities assigned to Perrigo Services International Poland
- Applying the guidelines of the accounting manual
- Ensuring correct cost center and profit center accounting and correct use of GL accounts
- Booking of journals and account reconciliations
- Contributing to financial close reporting in CFIN
- Completing the month-end close process
- Preparing statutory filings including Financial Statements, CIT and other tax returns
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Finance, Controlling or Accounting
- Additional Accounting Certification would be a plus
- Solid knowledge of Finance in general and General Ledger in particular
- At least 5 years experience in similar role within Business Shared Service Centre structures
- Local Accounting knowledge used in practice for Polish entities, including end to end responsibility for local statutory and tax accounting
- SAP Finance experience
- Fluent in English and Polish.
