About the role

  • GL Accountant improving General Ledger processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives for Perrigo in Poland. Responsible for month-end close and SAP reporting tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for execution of General Ledger continues improvement activities
  • Consolidate and own R2R Continues Improvement Agenda (processes & systems)
  • Create Excel automations based on macro solutions
  • Act as Cadency System Administrator, support business users' queries
  • Drive Cadency standard process and accounts mapping in line with Global Policy
  • Create standard process guideline for Cadency journal entry technical bottlenecks resolution
  • Contribute to the month-end close process, including posting entries in accordance with US GAAP

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Finance, Controlling or Accounting
  • Additional Accounting Certification would be a plus
  • Solid knowledge of Finance and General Ledger
  • At least 3 years experience in similar role within Business Shared Service Centre
  • Prior standalone execution of continues improvements and projects delivery
  • Proactive in driving change
  • Familiarity with Cadency or Blackline
  • Ability to design process maps (Visio/PPT)
  • SAP Finance experience
  • Fluent in English and Polish
  • Advanced command of Excel, incl. macros/VBA
