Responsibilities
Take ownership of commercial strategy and drive scalable success
Design and oversee go-to-market strategies for distributor and NDA segments, including customer segmentation and cost-to-serve analysis
Develop and continuously improve annual commercial terms and pricing frameworks
Lead the Reward for Service strategy, enhancing processes to enable timely data delivery, accurate accruals, and profitability tracking
Utilise internal and external data insights to inform strategic decisions
Drive cross-functional initiatives to streamline commercial processes
Provide strategic oversight to Sales
Requirements
Degree in Agronomy, Science, or a related discipline; BASIS qualification and/or CPA Part III is an advantage.
Strong analytical mindset with proven numeracy and data literacy.
Extensive commercial and technical experience in the agricultural or related industry, with strong customer-facing expertise.
Proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, pricing frameworks, and commercial terms, supported by strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
High level of commercial acumen, including cost-to-serve analysis, segmentation, and performance tracking; adept at interpreting data to identify risks and opportunities.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities, with experience influencing at senior levels and driving cross-functional initiatives.
Excellent communication skills to align stakeholders around commercial priorities and deliver actionable insights.
Valid UK driving license as this role will require regular business travel.
