About the role

• Senior QA Engineer ensuring high quality in payment solutions at Payplug. Involves test automation and quality strategy implementation in an agile team.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain new automated tests with Postman.
• Use exploratory testing and boundary/edge-case testing.
• Adopt a critical, prioritized approach.
• Be comfortable using GitLab and CI/CD.
• Be comfortable with microservice architecture (multi-language) and back-end service testing.
• Have experience using Playwright for front-end testing campaigns.
• Define and evolve the testing strategy across the functional scope.
• Act as a quality lead and support the team's skills development around quality.
• Write test plans and execute test scenarios.
• Manage the defect lifecycle.
• Challenge specifications and the testability of features.
• Embrace Shift Left and Shift Right testing practices.
• Work in an agile team and actively participate in all Scrum meetings.

Requirements

• You have at least 5 years of QA experience, with strong automation expertise.
• You have strong expertise in backend testing.
• You are rigorous and autonomous in your daily work.
• Nice to have: experience conducting performance testing campaigns.
• You have experience working on a billing system / CBS.
• You have advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• You have experience working with Datadog.
