About the role
- IT Business Analyst/QA specialist within SEB’s Calypso team, supporting trading and post-trade processing for capital markets products. Collaborating with an international Agile SCRUM team on quality assurance activities.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining high-quality IT solutions, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, acceptance criteria, testing and user support.
- Actively participating in planning and follow-up to ensure timely, high-quality deliveries.
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand expectations and deliver business value.
- Identifying and driving continuous improvements in systems, processes, and ways of working, in line with secure development principles and internal IT policies.

Requirements
- A strong analytical mindset and genuine interest in problem‑solving.
- Hands‑on experience with software analysis, testing, and user support of enterprise level systems with complex workflows, including:
- work with system logs, static code analysis, and database structures.
- familiarity with different testing types (unit, integration, system, end‑to‑end, regression) and test automation frameworks.
- Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and practical experience working in Agile teams.
- Basic proficiency in JAVA and Oracle SQL (deeper expertise is a strong advantage).
- Ability to proactively suggest and implement improvements/optimizations (CI/CD experience is an advantage).
- Experience in working with JIRA or similar development management tools.
- Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of financial and capital markets products.
- Previous exposure to the Calypso system, especially Back Office or post‑trade areas.
