About the role

Responsibilities
- End-to-end responsibility for quality and releases
- Central escalation point for quality or security risks
- Create and maintain test strategies, test concepts, and test cases across mobile apps (iOS/Android), backend, hardware, and web
- Hands-on testing of critical, security-relevant features as well as worst-case and failure scenarios
- Develop and continuously improve the QA strategy, quality standards, and testing processes
- Plan, coordinate, and support internal and external tests (rollouts, pilots, field tests, partners)
- Responsible for release quality, managing bug fixes and regression testing, and making final go/no-go decisions
- Identify opportunities for test automation and lead targeted implementation
Requirements
- 4–6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including multiple years with release responsibility and go/no-go decisions
- Strong hands-on testing skills, particularly for critical and security-relevant features and scenarios
- Solid experience testing mobile applications (iOS/Android)
- Strong understanding of backend, hardware, and web systems
- Experience defining, maintaining, and prioritizing test cases and test concepts
- Structured, pragmatic working style with a strong sense of quality and responsibility
- Confident use of Jira, bug-tracking, test management, and mobile-testing tools
- Good knowledge of web testing and test automation
- Fluent German (at least C1) and good English skills (at least B2)
