About the role

• Forward Deployed Engineer leading client workshops and data analysis at an AI decision intelligence platform. Involves technical communication and collaboration within the team.

Responsibilities

• Analysis & Workshops: Review the data situation, identify gaps, prepare templates, and lead data workshops
• Data & Models: Transform customer data into the paretos schema, set up and compare baseline and agent-based forecast results, identify opportunities, and test hypotheses
• Business Impact: Analyze results and derive actionable recommendations, always with a focus on real customer value
• Go-Live & Monitoring: Monitor pipelines, verify forecast quality, respond to ad-hoc questions, and continuously optimize
• Communication & Feedback: Serve as the technical point of contact for customers, work closely with Customer Success and Product/Forecast teams, provide feedback and support product development

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Business or Data Analyst
• Very strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with Git
• Hands-on experience with SQL / relational databases
• Excellent communication skills — both internal and external
• Fluent German and English (German is required)
• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
• Willingness to work on-site regularly in Heidelberg
• Nice to have: Experience with dbt, knowledge of data modeling concepts, experience with Superblocks, and experience in client-facing roles or enterprise environments
