About the role
- Senior Electrical Engineer leading and delivering impactful water and wastewater infrastructure projects at Parametrix. Joining a team of experts across Washington and Oregon with a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering design for municipal and/or industrial water and wastewater collection, distribution, and treatment facility projects.
- Partner in business development and client management efforts, serving in a client-facing role with direct engagement and relationship-building responsibilities.
- Foster a strong team environment, supporting collaboration, mentorship, and connection within the electrical team and broader Water Division.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 10+ years of consulting experience
- Industrial power experience, including 480V power distribution
- Motor control (including VFDs)
- Standby generators
- National Electrical Code (NEC) compliance
- Technical expertise in PLCs, SCADA systems, industrial control networks
- Wired/wireless telemetry, relay control logic, and process instrumentation
- Experience serving municipal and/or industrial water and wastewater clients.
