About the role

  • Senior Electrical Engineer leading and delivering impactful water and wastewater infrastructure projects at Parametrix. Joining a team of experts across Washington and Oregon with a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical engineering design for municipal and/or industrial water and wastewater collection, distribution, and treatment facility projects.
  • Partner in business development and client management efforts, serving in a client-facing role with direct engagement and relationship-building responsibilities.
  • Foster a strong team environment, supporting collaboration, mentorship, and connection within the electrical team and broader Water Division.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • 10+ years of consulting experience
  • Industrial power experience, including 480V power distribution
  • Motor control (including VFDs)
  • Standby generators
  • National Electrical Code (NEC) compliance
  • Technical expertise in PLCs, SCADA systems, industrial control networks
  • Wired/wireless telemetry, relay control logic, and process instrumentation
  • Experience serving municipal and/or industrial water and wastewater clients.
