About the role
- Head of Finance responsible for financial strategy and operations in a growing legal research platform. Driving financial planning, budgeting, and analysis while ensuring scalability.
Responsibilities
- Own Pandektes’ financial strategy and operations, ensuring a strong and scalable financial setup
- Maintain a clear overview of key financial metrics, performance indicators to inform decision making
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and P&L ownership across the company
- Act as a key finance partner to leadership on corporate finance topics
- Set up and continuously improve operational finance processes, systems, and controls
- Conduct customer-related financial analysis, including pricing, unit economics and revenue performance
- Work with external partners on accounting, audits, compliance etc.
Requirements
- Financial background with experience in startup, scale-up, PE, VC, or M&A environments
- Hands-on experience supporting or leading fundraising/M&A processes (ideally through a Series A/B/C)
- Solid understanding of operational finance, including setting up finance functions from scratch or early stage
- Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn financial data into clear business insights
