About the role
- Junior Financial Analyst for Órigo Energia managing accounts payable and financial routines in a dynamic environment. Supporting payment processes and ensuring financial integrity in operations.
Responsibilities
- Financial control:
- Recording and reconciliation of accounts payable;
- Management of payment flows (boletos, bank transfers, PIX, etc.);
- Preparation of payment forecasting spreadsheets for board approval;
- Preparation of payment files and submission to the bank;
- Bank reconciliation: monitoring bank statements and matching with internal records;
- Execution of daily payment controls/routines and payment processes;
- Ensure deadlines are met to avoid interest and penalties;
- Identify inconsistencies in documents and reports.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
- Experience: At least two years' experience in Financial/Administrative roles, with emphasis on Accounts Payable;
- Tools: Microsoft Office, with emphasis on intermediate Excel (formulas and basic functions, PivotTables, IF, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Plus: Familiarity with ERP systems;
- Basic knowledge of tax legislation (withholdings, tax incidence, etc.);
- Intermediate knowledge of Financial Mathematics (interest calculations, monetary updates, PV, FV, etc.);
- Experience participating in continuous improvement projects;
- Experience liaising with banks;
- Basic English.
