About the role
- Junior CAD Designer creating detailed AutoCAD drawings for fire alarm systems at JEM. Collaborating on projects to transform concepts into technical drawings for clients.
Responsibilities
- Draw fire alarm layout plans using AutoCAD for contracted projects;
- Assist the estimating department in developing explanatory drafts for commercial proposals;
- Calculate voltage drop for electrical circuits;
- Size batteries for use in fire alarm control panels;
- Prepare bill of materials (BOM).
Requirements
- Currently studying or degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Architecture;
- AutoCAD 2D (3D not required);
- Experience with fire alarm systems or electrical work (advantage);
- Analytical mindset, commitment, and attention to detail;
- Experience with construction/executive project drawings is a plus.
