About the role
- Compliance Analyst Senior supporting Microsoft Power Platform workflows and data platform operations. Contributing to data analytics capabilities within the Electric Risk & Compliance organization at PG&E.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and provide technical solutions
- Conduct system and workflow analyses to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions
- Translate business requirements into functional application features, supporting application lifecycle management, documenting technical specifications, and engaging stakeholders through training and demonstrations
- Manage complex data analysis projects with limited supervision on only the most complex projects
- Design data analysis to achieve business objectives, process data, analyze data, write clear and concise data findings and tailor communications to specific audiences
- Manage very complex data extracts and list pulls ensuring data accuracy
- Provide new and innovative solutions and recommendations to enhance databases with new data sources and improved data processes
- May monitor and manage work activities of less experienced auditors
- Support existing Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power App, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, etc.) to improve business processes, workflow, and automation
- Verify data integration across different systems to enable seamless operations
- Conduct application debugging, refinement, and performance enhancement
- Independently solve complex problems, demonstrating critical thinking and sound judgment in application design.
- Conduct demonstrations and support training for stakeholders and end users
- Stay up to date with the latest Power Apps and Power Automate features and trends.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years of experience as an analyst using data analysis tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (desired)
- Microsoft Power Platform certification(s) (desired)
- Business analysis certification(s) (desired)
- Understanding of Microsoft Power Platform services, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
