About the role

  • Compliance Analyst Senior supporting Microsoft Power Platform workflows and data platform operations. Contributing to data analytics capabilities within the Electric Risk & Compliance organization at PG&E.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and provide technical solutions
  • Conduct system and workflow analyses to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions
  • Translate business requirements into functional application features, supporting application lifecycle management, documenting technical specifications, and engaging stakeholders through training and demonstrations
  • Manage complex data analysis projects with limited supervision on only the most complex projects
  • Design data analysis to achieve business objectives, process data, analyze data, write clear and concise data findings and tailor communications to specific audiences
  • Manage very complex data extracts and list pulls ensuring data accuracy
  • Provide new and innovative solutions and recommendations to enhance databases with new data sources and improved data processes
  • May monitor and manage work activities of less experienced auditors
  • Support existing Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power App, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, etc.) to improve business processes, workflow, and automation
  • Verify data integration across different systems to enable seamless operations
  • Conduct application debugging, refinement, and performance enhancement
  • Independently solve complex problems, demonstrating critical thinking and sound judgment in application design.
  • Conduct demonstrations and support training for stakeholders and end users
  • Stay up to date with the latest Power Apps and Power Automate features and trends.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 years of experience as an analyst using data analysis tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (desired)
  • Microsoft Power Platform certification(s) (desired)
  • Business analysis certification(s) (desired)
  • Understanding of Microsoft Power Platform services, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
