About the role

  • Manager overseeing electric capital construction and maintenance projects throughout service territories at PG&E. Leading teams and managing project execution with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees electric capital construction and maintenance projects throughout service territory
  • Manages teams of Program Managers, Analysts, and Construction Specialists
  • Manages cost, safety, quality, schedule, scope & client/customer satisfaction
  • Regularly presents to leaders & stakeholders on project execution readiness, compliance, and risk management information
  • Develops and delivers recommendations to improve processes, schedules and/or cost performance of projects
  • Works with peers and leaders across Electric Operations to promote teamwork, streamline processes and improve efficiency

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
  • Ten Plus (10+) years of total related experience in project management experience
  • Five Plus (5+) years project management of electric utility projects
  • Four Plus (4+) years supervisory experience in a technical field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through the Project Management Institute.
