About the role

  • Risk Analyst managing safety risks within PG&E’s Underground program. Develops risk management frameworks and maintains asset risk registers to mitigate wildfire risks.

Responsibilities

  • Supports an effective and efficient safety risk management program
  • Develops and implements a risk management framework
  • Analyzes risks and develops mitigation plans
  • Develops and maintains an asset risk register
  • Coordinates with the assets owners across the line of business to track operational and enterprise risks and the execution and effectiveness of risk mitigation activities
  • Serves as a liaison with the enterprise risk management function to ensure alignment and common understanding of risks
  • Prepares analysis and reports for the line of business and the enterprise

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Ten (10) years of experience in risk management, utility operations, and/or related field
  • Masters Degree or equivalent experience (Desired)
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience (Desired)
  • Risk Management certification (Desired)
  • ASQ-American Society for Quality CQE-Certified Quality Engineer Certification (Desired)
  • Safety Engineering certification (Desired)
