About the role

  • Scrum Master driving agile practices in cross-functional product teams at an AI-based supply chain solutions company. Collaborating with experts from various fields to enhance product development.

Responsibilities

  • You support our two cross-functional teams in successfully delivering their projects and promote an agile way of working.
  • You facilitate and coach the teams during all Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review and Retrospective).
  • You assist the teams in their continuous improvement process and ensure that transparency, quality and focus are maintained on the most important goals.
  • You help the product teams build a shift-left culture around QA and test automation: quality assurance from the start of the development process, close collaboration between Dev and QA, clear Definition of Done, CI/CD quality and risk reduction through early feedback.
  • You actively help remove impediments and coach the team in managing dependencies, challenges and stakeholders.
  • You work closely with the Product Owners, the engineering team and the entire Pacemaker team to increase efficiency, impact, speed and quality of product development.
  • You contribute to fostering a culture of ownership, openness and outcome orientation.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience as a Scrum Master and ideally a hands-on engineering background, e.g. in QA, test automation, DevOps, software development or machine learning.
  • Deep knowledge of agile frameworks, particularly Scrum and Kanban, and the ability to apply them in different contexts.
  • Experience working with distributed teams and digital collaboration tools (Miro, Confluence, Jira, Teams).
  • Practical experience with QA methods, test automation and quality assurance in an agile context.
  • You know how to integrate QA practices into the development process ("shift-left") and coach teams in doing so.
  • Strong coaching mindset and empathy to support and continuously develop your team.
  • Servant leadership, conflict facilitation skills and the ability to keep teams focused on meaningful outcomes and quality.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English.

Benefits

  • Remote-first culture: In addition to the freedom to work from anywhere in Germany, you can work up to 20 days per year from other EU countries.
  • Offices: If you enjoy office life, you are welcome to visit our offices in Münster or Düsseldorf at any time.
  • Flexible working hours: Arrange your working day to suit your needs — there are no fixed core hours, provided this is compatible with your day-to-day work and team.
  • Team Days: Our Team Days promote exchange beyond everyday work, help new colleagues get to know the team and strengthen our company culture.
  • Equipment: You will work with a powerful MacBook that provides optimal support for your daily work.
  • Training: With our Udemy Pro access you get unlimited access to training in your field and can further develop your expertise.
  • Additional benefits: Thyssenkrupp pension plan, bike leasing, Corporate Benefits and many more extras await you!
