About the role

• IT Product Owner developing technical solutions for stakeholders and data initiatives at OXG Glasfaser GmbH. Leading agile DevOps teams to ensure effective implementation of requirements.

Responsibilities

• You analyze internal and external requirements together with the business units, develop viable technical solution concepts from them, and advise stakeholders throughout the entire requirements process, from problem definition to the creation of user stories.
• You evaluate and prioritize requirements (demands) in terms of urgency and benefit, while always keeping stakeholders' interests in mind.
• You coordinate and provide technical leadership to our agile DevOps teams to ensure efficient and goal-oriented implementation.
• You are accountable for the success of the requirements to be implemented with respect to scope, effort, time and quality, and you initiate appropriate measures as needed in close coordination with the team and the requesters.
• You actively help shape the continuous optimization and digitization of the OXG IT landscape and the underlying business processes.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Product Owner, IT project manager, or in a comparable role, ideally with a degree in Business Informatics or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge in designing and evolving data models, ETL processes, and the analysis and processing of large datasets in cloud environments (AWS).
• Solid knowledge of agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, combined with technical understanding of data flows, interfaces, and ideally SQL/Python skills.
• Strong communication skills: you can convey complex content clearly and tailored to the audience, actively manage expectations, and prepare well-founded decision documents.
• High initiative, self-organization and commitment: you work in a structured, strategic manner and focus on the essentials, in German and English (business fluent).
