- Responsible for defining enterprise data architecture on AWS and Databricks Lakehouse platforms
- Enabling scalable data lakes, lakehouse solutions, and enterprise analytics for financial services organizations
- Define enterprise data architecture for Data Lake and Lakehouse platforms
- Design scalable architectures on AWS and Databricks
- Define Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) standards
- Establish data governance, security, and architecture standards
- Guide engineering teams on scalable data platform implementation
- Collaborate with business and analytics teams to translate data requirements
Requirements
- 12–16 years in Data & Analytics architecture, preferably in Financial Services or Capital Markets.
- Strong SQL
- Python
- PySpark expertise
- Hands-on experience with Databricks Lakehouse and Delta Lake
- Experience designing enterprise data lakes on AWS (S3, IAM)
- Knowledge of dimensional modeling and enterprise data warehouse design
- Experience with distributed query engines such as Trino
- Certifications (Preferred) Databricks Certified Data Engineer or Architect, AWS Solution Architect (Preferred)
