About the role
- Construction Manager overseeing building projects for OWL Services. Leading project management tasks and coordinating with subcontractors and clients for successful project completion.
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains project schedules
- Selects, coordinates, and manages subcontractors and suppliers
- Tracks/reviews project budgets weekly with the Construction Manager
- Manages change orders from initiation through approval
- Coordinates project billing and invoicing
- Serves as the primary point of contact for client communications
- Leads pre-construction meetings
- Provides daily and weekly project status reports to clients as required
- Coordinates activities with customer-provided vendors
- Schedules and manages vendor, material, and equipment deliveries
- Coordinates with vendors and customers to resolve missing equipment or parts
- Ensures all required inspections are completed
- Coordinates outside agency and third-party inspections, including DEP and other authorities
- Obtains Certificates of Occupancy (CO) as required
- Manages project closeout documentation and delivers final packages to the customer
- Facilitates lessons learned sessions with internal stakeholders
- Manage multiple projects concurrently
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or in a similar role
- Industry experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and regulations
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
