About the role

• Full-Stack Developer writing well-structured, efficient code for Ovoko's PrestaShop online store. Collaborating with a motivated team to enhance user experience and performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain our OvokoPack online store built on PrestaShop
• Craft clean, efficient, and well-documented code that makes a real impact for our customers
• Work on both frontend (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Smarty) and backend (PHP, Symfony, PrestaShop modules).
• Integrate third-party APIs to enhance functionality and user experience
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, usability, and code quality
• Troubleshoot, test, and optimize the site for reliability and speed
• Collaborate with a small, motivated team that values innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with PHP and its content management systems (e.g., PrestaShop, Symfony, or others)
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and best coding practices
• Experience working with relational databases
• Product-minded approach with attention to user and business value.
• Hands-on experience with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Smarty)
• CI/CD pipeline experience
• Not afraid to investigate and find technical solutions to everyday business problems
• Fluent spoken and written English language skills.
