About the role
- Sourcing Manager managing supplier base in Fermion Chemicals category for a leading pharmaceutical company. Driving RFQ processes and managing supplier relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage the selected supplier base and projects within the Fermion chemicals category
- Drive RFQ and supplier selection process and negotiate pricing, business models and sourcing agreements
- Manage supplier and risk management activities
- Driving improvements and actively managing the product and material lifecycle with stakeholders
- Leading projects and initiatives and proactively planning future actions
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of proven professional experience in global sourcing and supplier management
- M.Sc. degree in Business (e.g. SCM, Logistics, Industrial Economics) or other suitable field (alternative)
- Positive can-do attitude with excellent cooperation and networking skills
- Strategic sourcing mindset and basic understanding of sourcing principles
- Excellent project management skills and experience
- SAP knowledge and category-specific knowledge considered as an asset
- Ability to communicate and negotiate fluently in English and Finnish; other languages seen as benefit
