About the role

  • Center Administrator coordinating business operations for ClinImmune at CU Anschutz Medical Campus. Supervising multiple areas including finance and laboratory services for growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • ClinImmune - The Center for Clinical Immunology has an opening for a full-time University Staff (unclassified) Center Administrator (Business Services Program Director) position.
  • The Center Administrator coordinates policies and procedures and oversees the implementation of business operations within ClinImmune – The Center for Clinical Immunology, Department of Medicine.
  • Working under the direction and guidance of the Executive Director of ClinImmune as well as the Director of Finance in the Department of Medicine, the Administrator has authority over the business affairs, funds, and resources of the Center.
  • This includes collaboration with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operation of infrastructure systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of ClinImmune.
  • This position will supervise and oversee multiple areas of clinical laboratory services, accounts receivable/payable, purchasing, office management, IT and facility operations for the HLA Laboratory, University of Colorado Cord Blood Bank, Saint Louis Cord Blood Bank, Cellular Therapy Program, and Research activities.
  • The Center Administrator is responsible for aligning the Center activities with the policies and procedures of the Department, School of Medicine, and University of Colorado.
  • This position represents the Center within the Department and the School of Medicine, and the University of Colorado, providing essential communication, and networking for the effective functioning of these entities.
  • The Center Administrator position is largely financial focused and requires someone with strong financial acumen.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, healthcare administration, public administration, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
  • A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.
  • Six (6) years of professional management that includes direct responsibility for financial administration, policy coordination, and personnel management.
  • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
  • Master’s degree in accounting, business, health care management, finance, or closely related field from an accredited institution (Preferred).
  • Financial or administrative experience in a university or healthcare setting (Preferred).
  • Supervisory experience in a university or healthcare setting (Preferred).
  • Prior experience with the University’s PeopleSoft finance and human resources management system (Preferred).
  • Prior experience in managing clinical and/or grant revenue (Preferred).
