About the role
- Webdesigner responsible for creating landing pages and improving customer projects at Optimerch GmbH, a performance marketing agency in Dortmund.
Responsibilities
- You conceptualize and design conversion-focused landing pages that drive the success of our SEA and SEO campaigns.
- You independently implement designs in WordPress — your tools of choice are page builders such as Elementor or Breakdance.
- In addition to websites, you design everything needed in the digital space (e.g., banner campaigns for social media or display ads).
- You question existing layouts and continuously improve the user experience of our client projects.
- You work closely with our SEO and SEA managers to perfectly combine design and performance.
Requirements
- Solid professional experience in web design, ideally in an agency environment or with a focus on performance marketing.
- You know WordPress and page builders like Elementor or Breakdance inside out.
- Confident in using common tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud).
- You are highly digitally driven.
- You are familiar with the latest web trends and know how to implement design elements in a technically robust way.
- You design not only for aesthetics but understand how design influences user journeys and conversions.
- Excellent German skills, both written and spoken, are required for coordination with our Mittelstand (mid-sized) clients.
