About the role
- Senior capital markets leader at Optasia, a fast-growing fintech correcting funding strategy. Engage with banks, negotiate terms, and shape complex transactions as part of the executive team.
Responsibilities
- Build the 3–5 year funding strategy and convert it into an executable roadmap
- Lead end-to-end execution: origination → structuring → negotiation → documentation → close → lifecycle
- Create repeatable structures and standards
- Establish and run our bond issuance capability
- Build senior relationships across banks and institutional capital
- Partner closely with Risk, Legal, Tax, Treasury and Revenue teams to deliver outcomes
Requirements
- 15+ years in capital markets / structured finance / leveraged finance / private credit
- Proven track record leading complex debt transactions end-to-end
- Bond issuance experience (lead role preferred)
- Strong structuring judgment
- Credibility in front of senior counterparties
- Highly experienced Group Treasurer / Corporate Treasurer
- Flexibility with frequent travel
