About the role

  • Manage Contract Analytics for J&J's MedTech Surgery, driving business strategies and delivering analytical insights. Leading a team and collaborating across functions to improve contract execution.

Responsibilities

  • coordinate and deliver strategic analytics capabilities to create business strategies related to contracting for JNJ Medtech Surgery transformation.
  • Deliver the contract analytics and business recommendations based on analysis of commercial contracts linked to transformation activities, performance vs plan, and other key milestones to commercial leadership.
  • Leads a team of 1-2 analysts supporting commercial contract planning and analytics.
  • Drives shared accountability for metrics and analytic approach to performance monitoring of specific contracts.
  • Collaborates with cross functional stakeholders to drive Surgery transformation forward in a timely manner.
  • Works through the matrix and leads via influence.
  • Ensures contract analytics are integrated at all levels to monitor and ultimately improve execution, speed to next action, and accountability across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7+ years professional experience across Commercial roles or Healthcare preferred
  • Experience in Medical Devices/Technology required
  • Experience partnering with and leading a cross functional team
  • People leadership experience preferred
  • Knowledge of MedTech Industry and US Hospital Systems
  • Knowledge of US Surgery Business and Commercial Organization
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple partners across matrix organization including cross functional stakeholders
  • Understanding US sales/ contracting landscape to drive business recommendations and decisions based on the data sets analyzed
  • Ability to connect contract data to portfolio/ platforms being analyzed
  • Ability to communicate business impact and recommendations in a clear and concise manner
  • Understanding of Global + US Medtech Surgery systems and data workflows
  • Understanding of planning, execution, and measurement of sales and contracting processes
  • Creative thinking to develop effective strategies and translate into actionable insights to monitor and drive commercial strategy and effectiveness
  • Ability to establish a strategy, a complex project plan and then complete proactively, be it independently or within a team
  • Technical Skills including Tableau, MS Office, Power BI and other data tool sets required
  • Domestic travel up to 25% required.
