About the role

• Java Fullstack Developer enhancing B2B software solutions with innovative technologies. Collaborating in a SCRUM team environment and developing Java web applications.

Responsibilities

• You develop Java web applications using IntelliJ Ultimate and, in addition to our open-source in-house framework Sirius, work with up-to-date technologies such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Galera, Docker, Redis, HTML5 and CSS.
• You manage your code in GitHub and submit pull requests there for peer reviews.
• Together with your team lead and the Product Owner, you work according to SCRUM in defined sprints and release periods, using YouTrack.
• After the onboarding phase, you estimate development effort for new tickets in coordination with your teammates.
• Alongside your colleagues, you test the software implemented during the release period with integration tests in TestLodge.
• You support our support team on particularly tricky issues.

Requirements

• You are experienced in developing Java web applications (Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Ideally, you have initial experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis).
• You enjoy working in an agile SCRUM team and communicate with colleagues and customers in German (C1 level).
• You work independently, reliably, and proactively contribute ideas.
• You plan realistically and view challenges as opportunities rather than problems.
