About the role

  • QA Engineer ensuring product quality at Once For All, a platform for construction risk management. Collaborate on testing strategies and automated frameworks in a hybrid team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Define the overall test strategy (scope, levels: unit, integration, API, UI, performance, security).
  • Implement a risk-based testing approach: prioritize by criticality, focus on high-impact scenarios.
  • Define acceptance criteria, coverage matrices and classifications for critical scenarios.
  • Challenge user stories during refinement.
  • Design, maintain and evolve automated test frameworks for UI, API, contract and performance testing.
  • Apply best practices (Page Object, data builders, fixtures, tagging, parallelization).
  • Manage test data, controlled retries and the stability of test suites.
  • Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines with clear quality thresholds and fast feedback.
  • Participate in specification reviews.
  • Promote shift-left practices: strengthened unit tests, contract tests, API mocks.
  • Perform targeted exploratory testing.
  • Oversee automated non-regression test campaigns.
  • Contribute to targeted performance testing and basic security testing.
  • Define and track quality KPIs.
  • Produce sprint-level quality reports with concrete recommendations.
  • Train and support developers on testing best practices.
  • Document quality standards and automation guides.
  • Introduce test reviews on critical pull requests.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in software quality (QA, QA Automation, SDET or hybrid dev/test role).
  • Proven experience implementing or redesigning automation frameworks.
  • Practice with risk-based testing approaches, quality-focused refinement and structured exploratory testing.
  • Experience with high-volume web or SaaS products.
  • Proficient in at least one test-oriented language (Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, etc.).
  • Strong experience with a modern UI framework (Cypress, Playwright).
  • Proficient in API and contract testing.
  • Good understanding of web architectures (HTTP, REST, authentication, databases).
  • Awareness of performance, security and observability concerns.
  • CI/CD culture and experience with cloud/containerized environments.
  • Professional English required (B2 level).
