About the role

  • Project engineer responsible for planning and calculating steel structures for energy infrastructure. Contributing to the successful implementation of the energy transition in Germany.

Responsibilities

  • As a Civil/Project Engineer in Structural Engineering, you are responsible for the planning, calculation and technical implementation of steel structures and foundations for overhead line masts, actively contributing to a secure grid infrastructure and the successful implementation of the energy transition in Germany.
  • You independently design and calculate steel structures and foundations for overhead line masts (110 kV to 380 kV) on behalf of all major German energy suppliers and transmission system operators.
  • You prepare and review execution drawings with great attention to detail and ensure that all technical and safety-relevant requirements are met.
  • During the tender phase, you prepare tender documents and actively support project acquisition.
  • You create system plans, carefully check workshop drawings and approve them for execution.
  • You maintain close communication with our clients to coordinate technical details and ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements

  • A successfully completed university degree (university or university of applied sciences) in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering, Structural Design (Structural Engineering), Infrastructure and Environmental Engineering, or a comparable course of study.
  • You have already gained experience in structural design and static calculations with a focus on steel construction, reinforced concrete and geotechnical engineering, preferably in the area of overhead lines or related infrastructure projects.
  • Very good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
  • Experience with structural analysis programs such as RSTAB, RFEM or similar tools, as well as knowledge of applicable standards and regulations, is an advantage.
  • You are motivated to advance the energy transition in Germany and help shape the future of sustainable energy supply.
  • Your willingness to learn and your ability to work independently distinguish you and make you a valuable member of our team.
  • Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken, are required.
