About the role
- Engineer responsible for planning and implementing steel constructions for energy projects in Germany. Collaborating with major energy providers to ensure technical compliance and project success.
Responsibilities
- Planning, calculation and technical implementation of steel structures and foundations for overhead transmission line masts.
- Preparation and review of execution/detailed drawings and checking of shop drawings.
- Close communication with clients to coordinate technical details.
- Support during the tendering phase and in project acquisition.
Requirements
- Successfully completed university or university-of-applied-sciences degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering, structural design, infrastructure and environmental engineering, or a comparable field of study.
- Experience in structural design and static calculations with a focus on steel construction, reinforced concrete design and geotechnical engineering, preferably in the area of overhead lines or related infrastructure projects.
- Very good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Experience with structural analysis software such as RSTAB, RFEM or similar tools, as well as familiarity with relevant standards and regulations, is an advantage.
- Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken.
