About the role

  • Credit Quantitative Risk Analyst analysing credit data and developing models for Old Mutual. Supporting credit risk management processes and collaborating with senior analysts in improving lending practices.

Responsibilities

  • As a Credit Quantitative Risk Analyst, you will play a vital role in analysing credit data, developing credit models, and supporting credit risk management processes.
  • Your responsibilities will involve quantitative analysis, risk modelling, and providing insights to optimise lending practices.
  • You’ll work closely with senior analysts and contribute to the bank’s credit risk assessment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • 2 - 4 years' experience in Banking.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience developing credit risk models and/or quantitative analytics.
  • Regulatory Capital and IFRS 9 experience
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., SAS, Python) is advantageous.
