Responsibilities
- Collaborate with CBP personnel, Program Offices, Auditors, and Contractor POCs to facilitate closeouts.
- Locate and assist in identifying CBP contracts eligible for closeout.
- Ensure physical contract completion by securing all required written documents and concurrences in the contract file.
- Interpret financial reports, including SAP data, invoices, disbursements, and Undelivered Orders (UDOs).
- Receive and process requests to de-obligate excess funding.
- Draft closeout documents such as Business Clearance Memorandums (BCMs), SF30 modifications, and FPDS-NG records.
- Update databases, spreadsheets, and systems to reflect accurate closeout actions.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of federal contract closeout experience
- Bachelors' Degree is preferred
- Current or previous DHS Suitability is preferred
- Current or previous work with DHS US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is preferred
- Must have experience with preparation of expired contracts for archiving or destruction
- Must have experience with closing FFP contract types. Experience with other contract types like T&M, LH, and cost is preferred.
- Experience with DHS Electronic Contract Filing System (ECFS) is preferred
- Must be able to obtain or retain a Public Trust clearance.
- The investigation will involve a credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement agency check
- Must be a US Citizen
