About the role

  • SEO Director leading GEO & SEO strategy across enterprise clients at Jellyfish. Ensuring alignment with organic search, content marketing, and digital PR initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own GEO & SEO strategies across key client accounts
  • Act as the primary strategic consultant for clients
  • Own local advocacy and knowledge for GEO proprietary tech solutions
  • Collaborate closely with Content, Digital PR, and Paid Media teams
  • Own and evolve GEO & SEO measurement frameworks
  • Maintain a forward-thinking approach, identifying and implementing emerging SEO innovations
  • Oversee the operational delivery of SEO programs
  • Take ownership of client performance KPIs
  • Set the standard for internal communication and process optimization
  • Drive continuous improvement by proactively assessing internal SEO methodologies and ways of working
  • Manage, mentor, and develop Senior SEO Managers and SEO Managers
  • Identify and address knowledge gaps within the team
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation
  • Stay ahead of SEO industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging technologies. Champion AI-driven automation, data-driven insights, and cutting-edge SEO methodologies
  • Represent Jellyfish at industry conferences, events, and speaking engagements

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in enterprise-level SEO strategy and execution
  • Deep knowledge of technical SEO, structured data, JavaScript frameworks, and web performance optimization
  • Advanced expertise in SEO analytics, automation, and reporting, with proficiency in GA4, Adobe Analytics, Looker Studio, and enterprise SEO platforms
  • Strong understanding of digital PR, content marketing, and authority-building strategies
  • Ability to translate complex SEO insights into executive-level recommendations and strategic roadmaps
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams, mentoring talent, and fostering a high-performance culture
  • Strong ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, capable of handling multiple high-profile projects
