About the role

Responsibilities
- You will set up initial environments together with a mentor, connect identities (Single Sign-On) and enable core services for security, logging and monitoring.
- You will build foundational components such as networks, virtual machines or container environments and keep them secure and stable.
- You will make setups repeatable (e.g., with scripts or Infrastructure as Code) and improve our deployments step by step.
- You will consolidate metrics and logs, maintain runbooks and help resolve incidents in a structured way.
Requirements
- Completed degree (Computer Science / Business Informatics) or vocational training as an IT specialist (System Integration / Application Development)
- Solid foundation in operating systems, networking, communication technologies and distributed systems
- Initial experience or a strong interest in cloud infrastructure and container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Enjoyment of automation and architectural thinking – you like building systems, not just applications
- Curiosity, self‑initiative and a willingness to work into complex topics
- Fluent German (spoken and written) and good English skills
