About the role
- IT Project Coordinator overseeing IT infrastructure projects for Octapharma. Leading project scope, budget, and compliance in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for IT infrastructure projects (e.g., server migrations, upgrade projects, relocations, network expansions, etc.)
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality and risks
- Coordinate local IT teams and external service providers
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GxP, IT security, data protection, validation)
- Close collaboration with IT Security, Quality, Compliance and the Business
- Further develop local IT processes
- Prepare and conduct management meetings and reporting
- Ensure GMP-compliant documentation
- Implement the global IT infrastructure and digitalization strategy
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a comparable qualification
- At least 3–5 years of experience leading IT projects, ideally in the pharmaceutical environment
- Solid knowledge of modern IT infrastructures: networking, servers, virtualization, cloud, identity & access, IT security
- Experience with both traditional and agile project management
- Understanding of compliance and quality requirements (e.g., GxP, validation, audit readiness)
- Proven experience working with international, multi-site teams and stakeholder management
- Strong analytical, structured and solution-oriented work style
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
- Project management certifications, experience with ITIL-based operating models, and experience with cloud solutions are advantageous
