About the role

  • Finance Manager driving financial decision-making and strategy for Ocean Spray's USA Foods/Ecosystems. Leading cross-functional partnerships and analytics to enhance profitability and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of accurate and timely financial information and strategic insights to support the growth and profitability of the USA Foods/Ecosystem businesses.
  • Partner closely with leaders in Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, R&D, and Innovation to shape and evaluate business strategies and new product development through robust financial modeling and commercial analysis.
  • Guide and support the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, providing a financial lens to risks, opportunities, and strategic decision-making.
  • Provide forward-looking insights and recommendations that help drive the achievement of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and long-range strategic goals (LRP).
  • Be a leader in our monthly forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business strategy, while providing clear guidance on key variances and their implications.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring all financials reflect business performance and driving resolution of anomalies and discrepancies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to interpret financial results, understand key business drivers, and present clear narratives to Business Unit leaders.
  • Support Trade Planning and Revenue Growth Management (RGM) on promotional effectiveness, pricing decisions, and revenue growth projects.
  • Mentor and guide team members while contributing to the overall development of Ocean Spray’s finance team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or related field
  • Consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry experience and strong understanding of business, brand, & customer strategy
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skills, strong business acumen and ability to influence business partners
  • Strong people management skills
  • Comfortable presenting to groups and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex financial terms to non-finance professionals.
  • Team oriented with the ability to engage and influence cross functional teams
  • Must be results oriented with strong attention to detail and deadlines
  • Experience with sales and trade promotion data (Preferred)
  • Systems application experience with SAP (S/4 & SAC), and PowerBI is a plus (Preferred)
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred (Preferred)
