Responsibilities
Create journal entries to record transactions on a modified cash basis.
Reconcile all cash and investment accounts monthly.
Prepare financial statements accurately and within required timeframes.
Monitor and facilitate appropriate and timely processing of Trust expenses.
Calculate premiums and administrative fees timely and accurately.
Back-up daily cash management and investment directives tasks, as needed.
Requirements
Knowledge accounting principles and practices
1+ year of operational accounting; employee benefits experience a plus
Degree in Accounting or related field or combination of education and experience
Work independently as well as collaborate with others
Able to quickly assess and analyze problems and develop solutions
Proficient in MS Office with advanced level QuickBooks & Excel
