Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a team of treasury professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Oversee all aspects of transactional banking, liquidity, FX and interest rate risk, compliance, and cash accounting.
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve liquidity, working capital, and risk management.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, banks, service providers, and regulatory bodies.
Drive efficiency across accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory cycles.
Provide expert advisory support for M&A, supplier financing, and structured working capital solutions.
Ensure robust compliance with SOX, AML, IFRS, and other regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Demonstrated success in a Director/Senior Management level role within the Treasury function of a global organisation or reputable accounting/consulting firm.
Proven ability to operate effectively in a multinational matrix environment.
Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Economics with CA/CPA qualification preferred.
Deep knowledge of Australian treasury, economics, tax, AML legislation and IFRS accounting.
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to engage, develop, and inspire teams.
Strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and critical thinking skills.
Experience with SAP, PeopleSoft, and transactional banking platforms.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
