About the role

  • V&V Tech Lead overseeing flight software verification and validation for space technology at Lanteris Space Systems. Leading test campaigns and improving automation while collaborating on aerospace projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive software verification plans and procedures for flight software, including software on payload and customer furnished equipment (CFE).
  • Develop and execute requirement and use case/scenario based test procedures in a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) environment and document test results to ensure that software system requirements are met.
  • Own V&V (verification and validation) life cycle and technical roadmap for flight software testing and defines the overarching validation strategy across test phases.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and champion test automation that reduces human error and manual intervention
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and technical authority for test processes and representing organization in Test Preparation and Build Delivery Reviews.
  • Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes, data acquisition systems)

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Four additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • 15 years of software V&V experience
  • Experience authoring test procedures, driving process improvements and managing defects/non-conformances
  • Experience with technical writing, and cross-functional stakeholder management
