About the role
- Business Transformation Consultant in legal technology guiding clients in eDiscovery to optimize operations and achieve strategic advantages. Working hybrid with a focus on stakeholder engagement and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor and bridge the gap between technology solutions and business objectives
- Work directly with stakeholders to understand workflows and identify transformation opportunities
- Lead strategic blueprint sessions with C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Conduct assessments of customers' eDiscovery operations and workflows
- Develop operational models aligning with customer business objectives
- Re-engineer workflows to eliminate waste and improve quality outcomes
- Translate business requirements into tailored solution designs
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across customer organizations
- Educate customer teams on transformed processes and best practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in eDiscovery operations, legal technology, or legal services
- Deep knowledge of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and its practical application
- Proven understanding of how corporations, law firms, and legal service providers manage discovery workflows
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements, case law, and industry standards governing eDiscovery (FRCP, data privacy, information governance)
- Demonstrated success leading business transformation or process improvement initiatives
- Strong business process analysis, mapping, and re-engineering capabilities
- Experience conducting current-state assessments and designing future-state operational models
- Ability to develop compelling business cases with quantified value propositions
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with ability to influence at all organizational levels
- Outstanding facilitation and presentation skills for workshops, executive briefings, and strategic sessions
- Strong analytical thinking with ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations
- Excellent written communication for documentation, proposals, and strategic deliverables
- Understanding of legal technology platforms, review tools, and eDiscovery software solutions
- Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value and operational outcomes
- Familiarity with integration points across legal tech ecosystems (case management, matter management, data repositories)
- MBA, JD, or advanced degree in related field
- Working knowledge of Nuix solutions including Workstation, Automate, Investigate, Discover
- Professional certifications in business analysis (CBAP), or process improvement (Lean Six Sigma)
- Experience with change management methodologies
- Background in management consulting, especially with Big 4 or legal technology consulting firms
- Track record of thought leadership through speaking, writing, or industry association participation.
