Responsibilities
- Work with data scientists, data architects, machine learning engineers, and product managers to create innovative products and new technologies that facilitate, accelerate, and enable the development and deployment of AI/machine learning solutions at scale;
- Work closely with business and technology teams to produce and deploy machine learning models;
- Collaborate with tribe leadership to define standards for engineering and data science practices;
- Develop end-to-end cloud data processing pipelines to ensure data is available for consumption in the data lake;
- Manage the data platform budget and oversee the data engineering team;
- Select the best technology stack and apply appropriate libraries and cloud services for each task, following engineering best practices and standards;
- Align strategic requirements with technical teams and support planning and prioritization of activities;
- Play an active role in team meetings and presentations for engineering and data science teams to disseminate best practices in model development;
- Prepare executive presentations to demonstrate results and products to company executives.
